Work across Trafford Hospital with rotations to Altrincham General and the CT/MR unit at Withington, supporting a busy radiology service that covers CT, MR, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. You’ll be a pivotal part of a friendly, patient-facing team, working alongside radiographers, sonographers and consultants to prepare patients, assist during procedures such as biopsies, aspirations and injections, and support clinical activity across multiple modalities. The post offers variety and pace in a modern, digitally enabled environment, with regular contact with patients and colleagues across the multidisciplinary service.

This role suits caring, organised people — particularly women who value flexible, hands-on roles and want to build clinical skills. Previous experience in a healthcare or public-facing setting is desirable but not essential; good communication, telephone and teamworking skills, basic IT literacy and the ability to work under pressure are key. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust offers a comprehensive induction, annual appraisal, development opportunities including training in intravenous cannulation, and the chance to progress within one of England’s largest NHS trusts. Permanent, full-time, Band 2 salary £24,465–£26,598 (pro rata); post subject to DBS check.
