An opportunity at Velindre Cancer Centre (Velindre Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 2TL) for a Band 4 Radiotherapy Booking Clerk supporting a specialist radiotherapy service. This permanent, full‑time role (10:00–18:00 Monday to Friday) offers a salary of £27,898–£30,615 and the chance to work either at the purpose‑built Velindre Cancer Centre or at the new satellite unit at Neville Hall, Abergavenny. Day‑to‑day you will schedule and amend radiotherapy appointments, use the Trust’s computerised booking systems, liaise sensitively with patients about appointment choices, compile and analyse waiting‑list data and help organise departmental tasks. NVQ3 (or equivalent experience), strong clerical and keyboard skills, a calm manner, good telephone manner and NHS systems experience are important; Welsh speakers are welcome and sponsorship can be considered. This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check and interviews are face to face. Closing date: 09 October 2025.
