Play a pivotal role in Cornwall’s new Multi‑Agency Rapid Response Service (MARRS), providing urgent, short‑term intensive care to children and young people in mental health crisis. You’ll deliver assessments, home treatment and crisis intervention as part of a county‑wide, shift‑based rota (24/7) that covers Bodmin, Truro and Helston. This Band 5 permanent post (salary £31,049–£37,796) is for registered professionals — nurses, social workers or occupational therapists — with experience in mental health, child development and safeguarding, who can work confidently across multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency teams to prevent inpatient admissions and support recovery in the community.

This role is ideal for carers who want hands‑on, family‑centred practice and real professional development. Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust offers a strong training package including AMBIT, DBT, solution‑focused and trauma‑informed approaches, plus non‑medical prescribing support for nurses and a preceptorship for newly qualified staff. You’ll be part of a supportive, integrated CAMHS network working closely with social care and the local inpatient unit, with opportunities to grow your skills and make a visible difference to young lives.
