As a GP Reception Care Navigator with SSP Health at Carlisle Central Practice (CA11EB), you'll be the warm, organised first point of contact for patients and families, guiding them through their healthcare journey. The role combines reception and administrative duties with active care navigation: managing multi-line phone enquiries, booking, editing and cancelling appointments and recalls on EMIS, arranging home visits and transport for housebound patients, and keeping medical records accurate and up to date. You will work closely with clinical and admin teams to co‑ordinate care plans, process correspondence and support clinics, using practice protocols and the modern general practice model — training will be provided.

This permanent role offers full‑time, part‑time or flexible working at £12.21 per hour, includes mandatory training and is subject to a DBS check.
