Were looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Dove Medical Practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellent service and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the surgery.

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 27-30 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic practice team.
Working Pattern:

Monday: 13:00 to 18:30

Tuesday:13:00 to 18:30

Wednesday: 07:45 to 13:15 (or 16:30)

Thursday: 07:45 to 13:15

Friday:13:00 to 18:30
Shift patterns are subject to change.
You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing an excellent standard of customer service both face-to-face and over the phone. You will also be responsible for administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice.

About us
Patient-Facing Duties:

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and direct them appropriately.

Book, cancel, and amend appointments in line with practice protocols.

Ensure all patients are signposted appropriately using the agreed triage process.

Process repeat prescription requests and provide general information.
-
Deal with patient queries sensitively and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Update patient records and contact details as needed.

Assist with new patient registrations and patient deductions.

Complete tasks as delegated by the Reception Lead or Practice Manager.

Work collaboratively with clinical, management, and administrative staff.

Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Maintain a clean and organised reception area.

Promote a positive and respectful environment for patients and staff.

Adhere to all practice policies, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety.
