The Weavers Practice rswzfyDKh
Job description
As GP Receptionist / Care Navigator at The Weavers Practice, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients across our Rishton and Great Harwood sites. This part‑time, permanent role is 30 hours a week over four days, with a mix of early 8am starts and later finishes up to 6:30pm; some flexibility is needed to cover annual leave or sickness. Previous experience in a busy GP practice is essential — you will manage face‑to‑face and telephone enquiries, arrive patients on the clinical system (Emis Web), handle online triage via Patchs, book appointments, process prescriptions and manage practice emails, scanning and coding. A full UK driving licence is required for travel between sites, and the post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The role pays £12.21 per hour.
This position suits caring, organised people — especially women and carers who value part‑time hours but want a meaningful role using listening and triage skills. The Weavers is a friendly GP Training Practice rated Good by the CQC, with around 8,500 patients and close working through the Hyndburn Rural PCN, giving you access to wider clinical support such as a clinical pharmacist and physiotherapist. You’ll join a supportive team where resilience, clear communication and compassion matter, with opportunities for role‑related training. To apply, please click the "Apply Now" button alongside this advert — the vacancy is listed on jobsincare.com.
