Job summary
Tasburgh Lodge Surgery is located in the beautiful village of Woodhall Spa.An opportnity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking Receptionist / Care Navigator to work part-time (approx 21hrs p/w) within our dedicated reception team. We are looking for a team player wanting to help our surgery continue with its great success and contribute to its key performance measures and development.

Experience
in general practice as well as familiarity with SystmOne would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

Main duties of the job
Main dutues of the role:Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors- Making a good 'first impression', dealing with enquiries at the front desk and handing out prescriptions.Answering and direting phone callshandling enquiries, taking messages,and transferring calls to the right person.Managing appointments- booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments.Handling incoming and outgoing mail- sorting post and generic emails.Maintaining the reception area- keeping it tidy, stocked with supplies, and professional-looking.Managing records and data entry- updating contact

Details
, logging visitor information, and maintaining accurate records.Providing administrative support- helping wih filing, photocopying, scanning or basic correspondence.Dealing with general enquiries- in person, by phone or via email.Assisting staff or management- supporting internal communication, registrations, chaperoning and opening and closing of practice premises as and when required.

Job summary
The following are the core responsibilities of the medical secretary.
