Job description
Support people to regain independence in their own homes as a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust’s Integrated Community Rehabilitation Services in South Manchester (based Wythenshawe, M22). You will work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver and evaluate evidence‑based home exercise and therapeutic programmes for people with complex or frailty-related needs. The role involves community visiting across South Manchester (applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence and have regular access to a vehicle — evidence will be required), working under indirect supervision, maintaining clinical skills, and promoting independence and healthy lifestyles. A DBS check is required; essential entry level qualifications include GCSEs in numeracy and literacy, and previous experience in health or social care is advantageous.
