We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Nottingham. At Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre , we offer rehabilitation, care and support to people with a brain injury or other neurological condition. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible. We provide a psychology led multi-disciplinary treatment model to deliver a high quality, specialist service for people who have a neuro disability or acquired brain injury. What you'll be working: Full time Minimum 22 Hours - 37.625hrs per week Days and nights flexible Weekend working on a rota You would be supporting across Nottingham units on a rota basis What you'll be doing: A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young people Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed Communicate any issues to the clinical team Accurately report and/or record work activities What you'll have: A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our residents The ability to communicate effectively at all levels Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
