Job description
Based at Newfield House in Coventry, this Rehabilitation Technician role with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust offers a permanent, full‑time Band 3 position (£24,937–£26,598) in the Community Integrated Neuro and Stroke Service. You will work as a specialist therapy assistant delivering home‑based rehabilitation for people after stroke or other neurological conditions, carrying out delegated tasks from physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, dietetics and psychology. Day‑to‑day duties include supporting mobility and safe moving and handling, helping people with cognitive and emotional needs, enabling independence at home and working alongside families to adapt to life changes. This role is ideal for compassionate carers — particularly women seeking a hands‑on, community‑focussed role where your empathy and practical skills matter. You’ll be supported by qualified therapists, receive regular supervision, work‑based competency training and access wider learning opportunities within a Trust rated good by the CQC and recognised as a Pathway to Excellence organisation.
