Relief Support Worker with Dimensions in Redcar, covering Cleveland, Middlesbrough and Redcar (TS10) — part‑time, on‑site contract paying £12.21 per hour. This is bank relief work offering true flexibility: choose the shifts you want with no obligation to accept, and holiday pay is paid on top of your hourly rate. You’ll work across supported‑living homes (whole shifts in one place) and will need a full UK manual driving licence and access to a car for some harder‑to‑reach locations. Typical patterns include longer day shifts and occasional sleepovers (eg 09:00–23:00 with 07:00–09:00 the next morning), a Wednesday 12:30–18:00 slot and other afternoon/evening shifts; the role is on‑site only. Job reference Dim/22824, closing date 03 December 2025. An enhanced DBS is required and Dimensions will cover the cost.

This role suits caring, thoughtful people — particularly women and family carers seeking flexible, meaningful work — whether you’ve worked in social care before or are looking for a kind, values‑led entry into the sector. You’ll provide person‑centred support with daily living tasks (meal preparation, cleaning and laundry), encourage independence through activities like arts and crafts, support community access (including helping one gentleman attend Middlesbrough home games) and deliver varying levels of personal care. Dimensions recruits by values not just experience and offers full training, ongoing learning, employee discounts, recognition awards and support for disabled applicants (Disability Confident, BSL recruitment resources).
