Your Role as a Residential Child Care Worker
As part of our dedicated team, you’ll play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment for children and young people aged 8–18. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting young people in every aspect of home life
• Driving to school, appointments, and outings (UK manual licence required)
• Preparing meals and helping with household tasks
• Creating lasting memories through fun activities, trips, and holidays
• Working collaboratively with your manager and peers to provide tailored care
• You will work an average of 56.4 hours per week (including sleepovers), with more flexible options available for part-time or zero-hour contracts.
