Provide a stable, therapeutic home for boys aged 12–18 at Apple Orchard’s residential home in Crawley. This part‑time, permanent role (30 hours per week) sees you working on site in a rural, nurturing setting supporting young people who have experienced trauma. You will plan and lead activities that build confidence, develop independence and promote emotional wellbeing, keep clear records of progress and behaviour, work with local authorities and professionals, and be part of a close-knit team that values calm, consistent care.

This role suits compassionate, resilient carers — experienced or new to residential work — who can work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and occasional sleep‑ins. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. The post is paid pro rata, starting from £20,950.80 (FTE £27,929.36) with the potential to increase after probation and to include sleep‑in pay (typically one sleep‑in per week; £35 per night). Benefits include funded qualifications and clear progression routes, company pension, employee discounts and wellbeing support, and every other weekend off.
