The Resuscitation Technician will work as a member of the team who supports the delivery and growth of Resuscitation. The role demands a high level of technical, administrative and communication skills that will support all aspects of Resuscitation. The post holder will be working cross site to ensure the maintenance of identified Resuscitation facilities are upheld.
The post holder will have responsibility for the setting up of manikins and equipment for specific training sessions, preparation of the training environments, managing equipment stock levels, maintaining equipment and ensuring resources are available for all training programmes. The postholder will also assist in the provision of other learning resources in the educational environment. This position involves working closely with the Resuscitation Team to provide a safe, well-equipped skills training environment.
The role requires energy and versatility, an ability to prioritise tasks and deal with competing agendas, as well as being able to work both independently and within a team. The post will involve moving and handling of equipment.

Head of Resuscitation, Resuscitation Leads & Resuscitation Practitioners, Core Education Team, Administrator, and Director of Education.
(ICT) Team, Estates Department, Medical Estates
Trust Management, Hospital Services and Departments
NHS staff in clinical and non-clinical areas
Education Centre/s
External:
Manufacturers and suppliers of manikins, equipment and skills
Liaise with other technicians from other Education and Healthcare Providers
Liaise with Representatives for different organisations e.g. ZOLL, Brayden, Laerdal etc.
