Make a real difference delivering hands‑on, person‑centred occupational therapy across hospital wards and community settings. This Band 6, permanent full‑time role with Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is based at Epsom General Hospital (KT18 7EG) within the Surrey Downs Health & Care partnership. You will assess, plan and deliver interventions, manage your own caseload, carry out home and follow‑up visits, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. The post includes supervision of junior staff, technicians and students, involvement in service development, audit and education, and requires HCPC registration and a DBS check. Salary is £44,485–£52,521 pa (pro rata, inc Outer HCAS). Rotations are cross‑site and typically change every nine months, covering acute neurology/stroke, care of the elderly, general medicine, orthopaedics & surgery, early rehabilitation and frailty.

This is a role for experienced Band 5 therapists ready to step up: if you value variety, clinical autonomy and tangible community impact, you’ll find structured support here through an integrated Personal Development Plan and ongoing CPD. The trust’s partnership approach means care is delivered close to people’s homes, giving you meaningful contact with patients and carers and the chance to shape practice across settings.
