Band 6: £44,806 to £53,134 a year Per annum  PERMANENT

In this dynamic role, you will join our multidisciplinary team in this well established role to deliver high quality assessments and interventions across a broad range of clinical specialties - including ED admission avoidance, Senior Health and Frailty, Oncology, Falls and Bone Health, and Older Persons Rehabilitation. You will work as a skilled practitioner undertaking specialist assessments and provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients. This post is a rotational permanent contract, and it offers the opportunity to be part of a friendly, dynamic, and forward-thinking teaching Trust.
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Physiotherapists dedicated to advancing their skills in acute assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for adult patients across acute and community settings.
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will independently manage your own specialist caseload, including complex cases. You will also take part in our night on-call respiratory service and weekend working within the admission avoidance, enhanced rehabilitation, and haematology/oncology services.
Our role offers exciting 9-month rotations that include:
Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit & Short stay ward
In-patient Senior Health Wards, including Acute Senior Health Unit
In-patient Oncology/Haematology
Falls and Bone Health
Community Rehabilitation (intermediate care bedded unit)
Working both autonomously and as part of a supportive therapy and multidisciplinary team, you will receive robust support from Clinical Team Leads. Excellent clinical, communication, and discharge-planning skills are essential.
