Job description
Salaried GP at Hugglescote Surgery, Coalville (part‑time, permanent) — an autonomous clinical role within a GMS SystmOne practice serving a list of around 10,000 in a growing town. You will manage acute and chronic care, prescribe in line with local formularies, handle referrals and results, and participate in the triage rota and on‑call sessions on a pro rata basis. Routine clinics are kept manageable (maximum 13 patients) and administrative burden is reduced by a dedicated correspondence team. The practice is CQC‑rated Good, a successful training and Tier 2 research practice with multidisciplinary support including ANP, nurses/HCAs, two pharmacists and PCN ARRS for mental health and physio, plus low home‑visit numbers (one care home covered). Salary depends on experience; full NHS professional registrations and defence indemnity are required.
This role is especially well suited to carers and women seeking flexibility and family‑friendly working: flexible hours, a blend of working from home and on site, telephone and face‑to‑face consultations, strong pastoral support and a team that values work‑life balance. You’ll have opportunities for teaching, CPD, clinical meetings with external speakers (lunch provided), involvement in practice development and a supportive preceptorship for newly qualified GPs. If you want a clinically rewarding post with a manageable workload and a collaborative, family‑centred culture, click the “Apply Now” button to submit your application — this vacancy is listed on jobsincare.com.
