A permanent, part‑time Salaried GP post across two Derby surgeries (Park Farm and Vernon Street), offering 4–6 sessions per week from January 2026. You’ll manage your own caseload in a SystmOne practice, providing face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations, home visits and routine clinical duties. Core hours are 08:00–18:30 with some Saturdays and later weekday shifts (to 20:00) shared on a rotational basis with salaried colleagues and GP partners. Salary is dependent on experience and the role includes full clinical and administrative responsibility within a patient list of almost 13,000.
This role suits personable, hardworking GPs who value a supportive, nurturing workplace — particularly those seeking family‑friendly, part‑time work with clear boundaries and team backup. The clinical team includes six GP partners, three salaried GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, ARRS pharmacists and social prescribers, offering strong peer support and development opportunities (CPD, coil fitting and minor surgery desirable). Applicants must be GMC registered and on the performers list; DBS checks apply and skilled worker sponsorship will be considered. Click the "Apply Now" button to proceed — you can also find this vacancy on jobsincare.com for full details and to apply. Closing date 13 October 2025 (may close early).
