Longrigg Medical Centre are looking for a new salaried GP
for 6 sessions per week, to start from November 2025, with the option of future
partnership.

We are an extremely friendly and welcoming practice
currently consisting of 4 partners (3 of whom are former Longrigg GP trainees),
4 salaried GPs and a Nurse Practitioner.

The majority of our administrative work is done in a large
communal space complete with workstations, kitchen and comfortable seating
area. We have a culture of working and problem solving as a team. Discussions
around clinical and organisational issues are strongly encouraged, both on an
ad-hoc basis and in our weekly practice meeting. You will always find someone
in the communal room available for support, or just a chat and a coffee (and a
homemade cake if youre lucky!). Supporting each other to maintain positive
well-being and a healthy work-life balance are important aspects of our
practice ethos. We regularly socialise together outside of work too. Most
recently this has included bowling, BBQ's and a rather muddy country walk!

We have strong links within our East Gateshead PCN and look
forward to further collaboration in future. We already have a large team of
Community Link Workers, 4 Pharmacists, a Pharmacy Technician, a First contact
Physio and a Primary Care Mental Health Worker, with other roles currently
being developed.

We are keen to support colleagues with development of
additional clinical interests and would love to hear what skills or services
you would like to bring to the practice in the future.
