We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable School Staff Nurse to join our professional school heath team.
We're a close team but we're never exclusive, if you can bring a professional approach and fresh ideas we would love to hear from you.

School Staff Nurses work as part of a team led by our Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHNs) to deliver a range of interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families to:
- Help parents develop and sustain a strong bond with children
- Encourage care that keeps children healthy and safe
- Reduce childhood obesity by promoting healthy eating and physical activity
- Identify health issues early, so support can be provided in a timely manner
- Make sure children are prepared for and supported in education settings
- Identify and help children, young people and families with problems that might affect their chances later in life
This role works within a school aged service and undertakes regulated activity with children 4-19 including the support of vulnerable families
