Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) in Carshalton is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist specialising in wheelchair, seating and posture to deliver specialist mobility assessments for clients of all ages. You’ll carry out independent trials and prescriptions for manual and powered wheelchairs, scooters and adaptive car seating, undertake seating and posture assessments to improve pressure care and comfort, advise on safe transfers and manual handling, and assess travel needs including Tryb4uFly. The role involves close liaison with external agencies, providing expert clinical advice to clients, families and professionals, delivering training, supervising students and maintaining high-standard clinical records in line with RCOT and QEF policies. This permanent, part-time and flexible post is based at Queen Elizabeth Mobility Services in Carshalton (not remote) and will include occasional UK travel with overnight stays.

This post is ideal for a compassionate, organised clinician with HCPC registration, membership of a relevant professional body (BAOT/RCOT/CSP), post‑qualification experience in physical disability and neurological rehabilitation, and proven experience specifying, ordering and fitting mobility equipment (driver’s licence required).
