Here is what you can expect to be doing day to day when you join our fun, friendly & inclusive team and will be supported to hone & develop your grooming craft

A day in the life…

• Provide outstanding grooming services in store
• Assist the Senior Groomer with day to day grooming tasks
• Bath and brush dog prior to groom
• Assist store shop floor team when required
• Assist with coordinating bookings
• Ensure the appropriate handling and safe transfer of animals within the store
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
  
  

What We Need...

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service
• Confident being around animals as you will be exposed to dogs with lots of different personalities
• You’re motivated to take that next step in your career & willing to put in the hard yards to become the best Groomer you can be
• A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential - as long as you bring the willingness & ‘Can Do’ attitude!
• Experience in a similar environment
• Our dog customers come in all shapes, sizes & weight so you will need to be physically fit and have an understanding of dog behaviors to ensure all interactions are safe for you and your customers!
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and your team-mates
• Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs
• Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
