As a Senior Booking Clerk at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (Liverpool, L14) you will coordinate outpatient bookings from point of referral through to appointment, ensuring patients receive timely appointments, diagnostics and test results. This permanent, full‑time Band 3 role (salary £24,937–£26,598) is the first point of contact for patient calls and involves managing clinic templates, liaising with PAs to make best use of outpatient capacity, and maintaining accurate records on PAS and other hospital systems. Strong computer literacy, an organised approach, excellent telephone manner and a sensitive attitude to confidentiality and safeguarding are essential to deliver a high‑quality, patient‑focussed service.
