Take a hands‑on procurement role supporting Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust through Wessex NHS Procurement Limited (WPL), based at Basingstoke Hospital (RG24). This permanent Senior Buyer position (Agenda for Change Band 3, £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) offers full‑time or part‑time hours and sits within the Operational Buying Team delivering e‑procurement services and the Trust’s Cost Improvement Plan. You will process non‑catalogue requisitions within agreed timeframes, spot opportunities to expand catalogues and suppliers, support change and continuous improvement, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The post requires the ability to travel to WPL sites and is subject to a DBS check.

This role is aimed at people with purchasing knowledge or a Certificate in Purchasing & Supply (Level 3) or equivalent, plus GCSEs in Mathematics and English — experience in office or procurement environments, customer service and procure‑to‑pay systems is desirable. Please note this vacancy is restricted to applicants already employed within WPL or the Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB system and WPL cannot offer Home Office sponsorship.
