As a Senior Care Assistant at HC‑One in Basildon you’ll work 33 hours per week on nights, providing hands‑on, person‑centred care across dementia, nursing and residential settings. You will lead and support a team of Care Assistants, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, administer medication, keep accurate records and help residents retain dignity, independence and comfort — whether that’s supporting mobility, helping at the end of life or planning meaningful activities. The role suits someone with a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) who is prepared to work towards Level 3, has experience or a strong interest in dementia care, excellent time‑management and a naturally kind, calm approach. Safeguarding knowledge and clear, compassionate communication are essential.
