Job description
As a Senior Care Assistant with HC-One at our Chesilton Avenue care home in Huddersfield (HD3), you will lead and support night-time care from 8pm–8am on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will centre on planning and delivering personalised, dignified care that creates security and independence for residents across dementia, nursing and residential services. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, administer medication, maintain accurate records and provide meaningful social and physical stimulation. Experience of person‑centred care and dementia support is desirable, and candidates with a Level 2 S/NVQ or Diploma in Health & Social Care — or willingness to work towards Level 3 — will be well placed. The rate is £13.17–£13.77 per hour and full flexibility for night working is essential.
