Make a meaningful difference every day as a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One in Burton‑on‑Trent (DE14 3DB). This full‑time, permanent role pays between £13.17 and £13.77 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications) and puts kindness at the heart of everything you do. You will lead a small team of Care Assistants to plan and deliver person‑centred care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist settings — from supporting someone to use a walking frame or providing compassionate end‑of‑life support, to administering medication and organising social stimulation. Accurate record keeping, close working with Registered Nurses and the Care Manager, and sensitive communication with residents’ families are key parts of the day‑to‑day role, so you’ll need calm organisation and a warm, respectful manner.
This role suits experienced carers with a Level 2 S/NVQ in Adult Social Care or those eager to work towards Level 3; knowledge of dementia care and person‑centred planning is highly valued.
