As a Senior Care Assistant with HC-One based in Newcastle Upon Tyne (Bentinck Road, NE4), you’ll put kindness at the heart of daily care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist services. This permanent, full‑time role (day and night shifts available) pays £13.50–£14.10 per hour and involves planning and delivering personalised care that protects residents’ dignity and independence. You will lead and support a team of Care Assistants, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, administer medication, provide meaningful social and physical activities, maintain accurate records and respond to safeguarding concerns — all while building trusting relationships with residents and their families.
This role is ideal for experienced carers who are organised, compassionate and person‑centred; candidates with a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care are encouraged and HC‑One will support progression towards Level 3.
