As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One in Stockport (SK4 4JY) you’ll lead a team of Care Assistants delivering compassionate, person‑centred care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist services. This permanent, full‑time days role is 44 hours per week (pay £13.50–£14.10 per hour, subject to experience and qualifications) and is ideal for experienced carers — especially women looking for steady daytime hours, supportive colleagues and real responsibility. You’ll plan and implement personalised care plans, support families, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, administer medication, provide social and mental stimulation, help at end of life and keep accurate records. A Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care is preferred and you should be willing to work towards Level 3; most important are kindness, great communication, good time management and awareness of safeguarding and dementia care needs.
