Job description
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC‑One based in Thirsk (YO7 1QH), you’ll lead a small team to deliver compassionate, person‑centred care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist settings. This permanent, full‑time role (job ref L0087‑25‑1015), advertised via NHS Jobs on 06 November 2025 and closing 11 December 2025, pays £14.75–£15.35 per hour and includes a £1,000 welcome bonus. You’ll work a practical 3‑on‑3‑off rota with 8‑hour days or nights, assisting Registered Nurses and the Care Manager with medication administration, tailored care planning, meaningful activities and end‑of‑life support. The role suits someone with a Level 2 Diploma/SVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) who’s ready to work towards Level 3, knowledgeable about dementia care and excellent at record‑keeping, time management and building trusting relationships.
