Senior Care Assistant – York (YO30 6RG). Permanent, full‑time role on a 3 on / 3 off 8‑hour shift pattern (day and night shifts available) offering £13.50–£14.10 per hour (subject to experience) plus a £2,000 welcome bonus. You will plan and deliver personalised care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist services, lead a team of Care Assistants, support Registered Nurses and the Care Manager, administer medication, provide meaningful social and recreational stimulation and offer compassionate end‑of‑life support. Accurate record‑keeping, strong relationships with residents and families, and excellent time management are essential. Ideally you’ll hold a Level 2 Diploma/S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be ready to work towards Level 3, with experience or a strong interest in person‑centred dementia care.
