Job description
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One's York home (YO26), you will lead a team delivering kind, person-centred care across Dementia, Nursing and Residential services. This permanent, full-time role is 38.5 hours on a 3 on/3 off rota, with both day and night vacancies, and pays between £13.50–£14.10 per hour. You will plan and implement personalised care plans, support residents with mobility and end-of-life needs, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication and stimulation activities, keep accurate records and communicate sensitively with families. Safeguarding is central to the role and a DBS check is required.
This role suits experienced carers or those with a Level 2 S/NVQ in Adult Social Care who are ready to work towards Level 3, and anyone who brings calm energy, strong time management and a genuine interest in people.
