Based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Norwich, this permanent, full‑time Senior Cath Lab Support Worker role places you at the heart of an innovative Cardiology service that includes five cath labs, a recovery area and an Elective Unit. You will support the multidisciplinary team caring for patients before, during and after procedures such as coronary diagnostics, interventional angioplasty, electrophysiology studies and pacemaker insertion, including a 24‑hour heart attack on‑call service. Typical duties include undertaking post‑procedure observations and escalating concerns, supporting conscious sedation monitoring, ensuring patients are eating and drinking appropriately, maintaining infection‑control and equipment checks, stocking theatre areas and preparing surgical trolleys, and helping to lead and develop the support worker group. This permanent post is full time, with a salary band of approximately £24,937–£26,598 per annum (job ref 7596000/234‑25‑HCSW‑G0858); the advert closes on 05 December 2025.
