Senior Dosimetrist opportunity at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust based at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton (TA1 5DA). This permanent, full‑time Band 7 role (£47,810–£54,710) is for an experienced therapy radiographer (HCPC) or clinical technologist (RCT) with a relevant degree. You will lead treatment planning, contouring and checking a wide range of clinical sites, run the Mould Room to produce patient immobilisation and shielding devices, and take a central role in commissioning RayStation and introducing new techniques such as the established and growing SABR programme. The post combines hands‑on work with modern kit — Elekta Versa HD linacs with SGRT (AlignRT), Canon Aquilion LB CT simulator, RayStation and Pinnacle TPS, MVision AI and an Xstrahl 200 unit — and involves clinical research, audits, patient‑facing communication and teaching responsibilities.
