Job description
Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers work as part of a large team comprising of Healthcare Support Workers at Band 2 & 3, Nursing Associates (Band 4), Staff Nurses (Band 5) and District Nurses (Band 6). We are looking to recruit dedicated, motivated and staff that are willing to go the extra mile for our patients to maintain high standards expected.
The Trust offers the prospect of being able to demonstrate experience and skills in a fast paced, ever changing environment, as well as access to a huge range of learning and training opportunities and support form a mentor and our clinical educators.
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic individual, with a desire to play an active part in the provision of high quality nursing care within the community setting. We want to recruit a caring and motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to provide the best possible care to our patients. Previous experience of caring for people at home and a commitment to providing care to a high standard is essential.
You will have the willingness to extend and develop your skills, and have the ability to apply your knowledge and skills to practice. The successful candidate will be required to work over a 7 day period, and will work as an integral part of a busy forward thinking and innovative Community Nurse Team. This is a community post and requires the post holder to work independently in patients' homes.
The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy. Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence (role will involve travel to numerous addresses that cannot be easily accessed by public transport means) is required.
Travel expenses will be covered by expenses and parking at our community sites is free for clinical staff.
