As Senior Nurse - Care Home at Barchester (Workington, CA14 3NE) you will lead clinically and remain hands-on, using your professional judgement to assess new residents, complete care plans and detailed risk assessments, administer medicines in line with NMC regulations and implement safeguarding, DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidance. This post is for a Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification; you will mentor and support your nursing team, supervise preceptorship for newly qualified nurses and drive improvements to ensure consistently high standards of nursing. The role is permanent and available full- or part-time, pays £22.31 per hour and is subject to a DBS check and current UK professional registration. Closing date: 11 November 2025.
