Job description
As Senior Rehabilitation Assistant with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust based in Southampton (SO16), you will work within the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team delivering specialist community therapy to people with a range of neurological conditions. Your day‑to‑day will include assessing patients in their own homes, progressing and implementing individual rehabilitation programmes, providing planned hands‑on intervention, and reporting outcomes to the multidisciplinary team. The role also carries administrative responsibilities, support for spasticity clinics (including safe handling and transfer of botulinum and ITB medications), and requires confident lone working, good prioritisation and adherence to information governance. Essential requirements include a relevant Level 3 qualification (or degree/diploma in Healthcare or Exercise Science), a full driving licence with access to a car for community visits, and a Disclosure and Barring Service check. This is a permanent, part‑time, flexible position at Agenda for Change Band 4 (salary £27,485–£30,162 pro rata).
