Lead specialist nutritional care for adults with cancer and surgical needs at Weston General Hospital, part of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As Senior Specialist Dietitian you will deliver highly specialist assessment and treatment — including oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition — for complex oncology outpatients and surgical inpatients, run dietetic clinics (face‑to‑face, telephone and virtual), attend ward rounds and MDTs, and liaise with consultants, specialist nurses, pharmacy and community teams. The post demands HCPC registration, substantial post‑registration experience and specialist knowledge in oncology and/or surgery, together with leadership skills to line manage junior dietitians and support workers, contribute to audits, research and protocol development, and influence pathway and service delivery. This permanent, full‑time role (£47,810–£54,710 pa pro rata) is based in Weston‑super‑Mare and involves independent clinical decision‑making for complex cases and active teaching of colleagues and students.
