This is a hands-on role supporting older residents, including those living with dementia, in a warm and respectful care environment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of care, supporting staff, and ensuring residents’ wellbeing and dignity are upheld throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred care and support to older adults and those with dementia Assist residents with daily living, social interaction, and community engagement Support care planning, report writing, and basic administration Lead by example, managing challenging behaviour and promoting a positive team culture Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice What We’re Looking For ✅ NVQ Level III in Care and up-to-date mandatory training ✅ Experience in dementia care and older people’s services ✅ Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills ✅ Ability to manage challenging behaviour (training provided if needed) ✅ Knowledge of care legislation and safeguarding practices ✅ Clean enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
