Job description
As Senior Support Worker - CYP with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust based at Severn Fields Health Village, Shrewsbury (SY1), you will be part of the newly mobilising Eating Disorders Intensive Support at Home (ED-ISH) service, providing intensive, evidence-based care to children and young people with moderate to severe eating disorders. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver targeted home-based support and school in-reach, help with mealtimes and nutritional rehabilitation, assist in psychoeducation and therapeutic activities, and monitor physical and emotional wellbeing in line with individual care plans. The role is permanent, full-time (Band 4, £27,485–£30,162) and requires a Foundation degree or NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), significant experience with children’s mental health in a community team, and a DBS check.
