Make a real difference as a Senior Support Worker with Voyage Care in Southampton (SO17). This permanent, full‑time role pays £13.61 per hour with typical shifts of 7.30am–2.30pm, 2pm–9.30pm and 7.30am–9.30pm, including weekends on a rota. You’ll lead a warm, residential service and support people to gain independence while assisting the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision — allocating shifts, booking training, inducting and supervising colleagues, ordering medication and helping people manage finances — all while remaining hands‑on in care. The post is ideal for experienced senior carers with a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and prior experience supporting people with enhanced needs, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories and trauma.
