Band 6: £37,338 to £44,962 a year pa pro rata  FIXEDTERM

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic midwife to join our team at Forward Leeds. The role will involve you working within the Addictions Plus Team at Forward Leeds, working across 3 locality Hubs, as well as home visits. You will work in conjunction with multi-agency partners, to ensure the delivery of high quality, accessible and equitable care for women and their families who are experiencing substance use issues.

You will be joining a diverse and skilled team that consists of a Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Psychologist, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Adult Nurses, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Specialist Midwives.

There is an excellent training package in Addictions and opportunities to expand your knowledge within this area. You will receive regular clinical, line management and safeguarding supervision.

The post holder is responsible for the management of a defined caseload, serving women and families who are experiencing difficulties with substance use. The post holder carries continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards of care. The post holder will take the lead role in the planning, provision and development of evidence based midwifery practice in relation to substance misuse.

The post holder will provide midwifery expertise through a collaborative approach to care between the Forward Leeds and the two maternity sites the LTHT.
