Make a meaningful difference as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) with Synnovis Analytics at the new HUB laboratory on Blackfriars Bridge, London SE1 8NZ. This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hrs) sits within Clinical Immunology and Allergy delivering diagnostic services to King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’, local GPs and national customers. You’ll work in a 25-strong laboratory team on a mix of manual and highly automated platforms, carrying out investigations, technical validation, first‑line troubleshooting and quality assurance. The post requires HCPC registration and immunology experience; salary is £46,418–£55,046 (dependant on experience) and the service is UKAS-accredited and IBMS-accredited for training.

You’ll rotate through all sections, use LIMS, contribute to audits and clinical interpretation, and help maintain turnaround times within set shifts (08:00–19:30 Monday–Friday with three shift patterns and an optional short Saturday shift).
