The Nitty-Gritty (But Still Exciting!) • Your Mission: As a vital member of our community multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team, you'll be providing top-notch occupational therapy to the residents of Harrow. This includes our Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke and our Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. You'll be empowering individuals with acquired or progressive neurological conditions to live their best lives! • Your Superpowers: You'll be an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload, assessing and treating clients, and keeping on top of your professional documentation – all while adhering to professional standards and best practices. • Building Bridges: You'll be building and nurturing strong relationships with our referrers, including GPs, hospitals, bedded services, district nurses, wheelchair services, Speech & Language Therapy, and other CLCH services. You'll be the go-to OT guru! • Guiding the Next Generation: You'll have the rewarding responsibility of supervising rehabilitation assistants and occupational therapy students – sharing your knowledge and passion! • Your Playground: You'll be primarily working in clients' homes, but also in clinics, residential care homes, continuing care homes, and community centres – variety is the spice of life! • Always Learning, Always Growing: We're big on professional development!
