As a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis and therapy for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich (SE18 4QH). This full‑time, permanent Band 6 role (1.0 WTE; £38,682–£46,580 pa plus HCAS) sits within a friendly, multidisciplinary acute team supporting medical, surgical and critical care wards. You will manage an independent dysphagia caseload, work with tracheostomised patients, take part in weekly VF clinics and FEES assessments, supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to discharge planning and MDT decision making. Essential requirements include a degree in Speech & Language Therapy, HCPC registration, RCSLT membership and postgraduate dysphagia training.
