As a Specialist Support Worker (Drivers Only) with Alternative Futures Group in Liverpool (L3), you will provide specialist, person-centred care to adults with complex needs including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. This drivers-only role involves supporting people in their own homes and the community, managing medication and medical equipment, responding to behaviours that challenge using appropriate strategies, and helping people follow personalised plans that increase independence, social connection and choice. The post is permanent, full-time, pays £13.72 per hour and will require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, a minimum of two years’ paid or unpaid experience in health and social care, flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts and attendance at mandatory clinical training.
