Specialist Support Worker with Alternative Futures Group (AFG) in Rochdale (OL16) — a hands-on, permanent full‑time role paying £13.72 per hour. You’ll provide complex, person‑centred care to people with acquired brain injury, spinal injury, learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other specialist diagnoses across community settings, independent hospitals and adult care homes. Duties include medication and pain management, use and ordering of medical equipment, delivering personalised support plans, promoting independence, enabling community access and relationships, and reporting and managing incidents to safeguard people. You will work flexible shifts covering 24/7, complete mandatory clinical and specialist training, follow the Skills for Care Code of Conduct and must have a minimum of two years’ experience in health and social care; an enhanced DBS check is required.
