Job summary
We are looking for a efficient and enthusiastic individual to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service for the Consultants and medical staff for Worthing Hospital, Rheumatology team.The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and will need to be competent with the use of MS office and internal systems. The post holder should have excellent typing skills.They will also be required to perform general office duties including answering phone calls, opening post, filing, photocopying, accurately proof-reading documents and entering data onto department databases.

Main duties of the job
Regularly reviewing / booking and validating from consultant's/Nurse's/Registrar f/u pending listsActioning CRB (Clinic rebook) requests for clinicians leave and template changesTracking and chasing of results / diagnostics / patient updatesReview future clinics to ensure utilised, highlighting any unutilised / capacity issuesSupport typing and booking appointmentsReviewing (past) clinic arrivals / outcomes ensuring all actioned have been completed on PAS
