Make a real difference in children’s lives as a part‑time Speech and Language Therapy Assistant across Ivybridge, Kingsbridge and Tavistock (PL21). This permanent, Agenda for Change Band 4 role (salary £27,485–£30,162 pro rata) sits within Children and Family Health Devon’s integrated community service, supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs in clinics, schools and homes. You’ll work alongside qualified Speech and Language Therapists to assist with assessments, run and set up parent and children’s groups, deliver one‑to‑one interventions and record progress against agreed targets. The post suits candidates with GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent), a foundation level/level 5 qualification or comparable experience, and hands‑on experience supporting children — including those with autism or complex needs.
