Job description
Looking to employ a Band 5 staff nurse to work within the Friarage Hospital in Main Outpatients Department Sir Robert Ogden McMillan Centre and Scott Suite.
The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Northallerton houses a spaciouschemotherapylounge, relaxing garden area and a Macmillan information centre as well as complementary therapy, consultation and treatment rooms.
The purpose-built £10million centre opened on the Friarage Hospital site in December 2and now provides more than 4,500 chemotherapy treatments a year and more than 200 outpatient appointments a week.
Having treatment and support services under one roof means that patients no longer have to walk to different parts of the hospital for cancer treatment.
Nurse led Dermatology clinics
Nurse led post op wound clinics
Scrub nurse
Coordinating staff and running of clinics with in a multi disciplinary department
Support for junior staff with guidance and teaching
Student Mentor
Medicine Management
